

Dr. Berasi is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with extensive training in Sports Medicine and Joint Replacement Surgery. Dr. Berasi received his Bachelor?s Degree from Cornell University where he participated in athletics and was elected into the prestigious Red Key Society. Dr. Berasi attended medical school at The Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Midwestern University in Chicago, IL. There he was elected into the Sigma Sigma Phi National Honorary Society.
Dr. Berasi completed his Internship and Orthopedic Residency at Doctor?s Hospital in Columbus Ohio. In addition, he completed training in Sports Medicine at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute. He also completed a Fellowship in trauma at the AO/ASIF Facility in Neuchatel, Switzerland. Dr. Berasi has been the team physician for St. Frances DeSales High School for the past 16 years and is a former Orthopedic Consultant for the PGA.
Dr. Berasi is currently Chairman of the New Albany Surgical Hospital Foundation for research, education and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders and holds privileges at New Albany Surgical Hospital and St. Ann?s Hospital. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Ohio University. He has an in depth experience in arthroscopic surgery, ligament reconstruction and joint replacement. Dr. Berasi resides in Powell, Ohio with his wife and three children and continues to enjoy an athletic lifestyle.
